Spitak Poultry Plant is located in the city of Spitak, Lori Region of the Republic of Armenia, and is engaged in poultry meat production. During the Soviet era, a poultry farm operated on this site; however, it was completely destroyed by the devastating earthquake of 1988.
Thanks to significant investments, the plant was reopened in 2015 and, within a short period of time, secured a strong and distinct position in Armenia’s poultry meat production sector, earning wide recognition and trust among consumers. The company has implemented state-of-the-art poultry equipment and modern technologies from leading European manufacturers, ensuring high production efficiency and consistently high product quality. Spitak Poultry Plant operates its own feed mill, supplying poultry with environmentally friendly, high-quality compound feed.
Day-old broiler chicks are produced at a modern hatchery commissioned in 2022. The plant also operates its own slaughterhouse, where all food safety standards and regulatory requirements are strictly observed. As a result of large-scale investments, in 2024 Spitak Poultry Plant commissioned its own modern parent stock (breeder) farm, the largest of its kind in the Republic of Armenia. In 2025, the breeder farm produced its first output—hatching eggs, which had previously been imported from abroad. With the launch of the new breeder farm, Spitak Poultry Plant not only fully meets its own demand for hatching eggs, but also supplies day-old broiler chicks and hatching eggs to other poultry farms and small-scale producers across the country.
Spitak Poultry Plant plans to continue making further investments in the near future, aimed at expanding production volumes and product range, as well as increasing compound feed production capacity. The company’s workforce is composed of highly qualified specialists from the local community, other regions of Armenia, and abroad. Thus, advanced technologies, favorable climatic conditions, high-quality raw materials, and dedicated work come together to provide healthy, high-quality food for our consumers. “Spitak Poultry Plant” – A Tradition of Quality
